The difference is real wood. Our furniture is constructed with hardwood solids and real wood veneers, the elements of true quality. With Kathy Ireland Home by Martin, you will not find wood grain imprinted on paper. We always use real wood veneers.

The wood veneers used in our products are hand-selected and hand-applied to ensure that each piece of veneer is matched to create the desired pattern. Every piece of wood furniture is unique because every piece of wood and veneer has unique characteristics and patterns.

Thus far, we have utilized veneers from hardwood trees like oak, cherry, ash, birch, maple, walnut, prima vera and mahogany.
We use a variety of hardwoods for the solid portions of our furniture. The species utilized to date include oak, alder, poplar, ash and cherry.
