LOCAL FURNITURE MANUFACTURER WILL ATTEND THE LAS VEGAS CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW IN JANUARY 2007
San Diego, CA- November 10, 2006- San Diego based manufacturer Kathy Ireland Home® by Martin will exhibit at the 40th annual Consumer
Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 8 to January 11, 2007. Martin, located in the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall
#26606, designs and manufactures office and home entertainment furniture under the Kathy Ireland Home® brand.
"This will be our first
Consumer Electronics Show," said company president and chief executive officer Gil Martin. "Our goal is to combine home furniture lifestyle
designs with the function that the ever-changing home electronics category demands and put these products in a more accessible arena."
Named
an Industry Leader by trade publication FurnitureStyle magazine, Martin will showcase new designs at the Consumer Electronics Show that will
house full-sized audio components with High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) cables and flat-screen television configurations with easy
access to electronic components. These units also include power centers with overload protection and are built in a way that naturally reduces
heat buildup. One television stand also includes occasional tables with speaker grills that house subwoofers. All of these features are accompanied
by lifestyle driven designs that complement home décor.
As for the gaming division of the electronics industry, Martin has developed a product built
especially for avid gamers. Features include multi-height pull-out shelves, storage compartments for CPUs or game consoles, a multi-angle back for
mounting several monitors and a complete power center with voice activated lights.
